Nei Gong is the oldest form of Taoist energy work. These ancient Chinese exercises were orally passed down from Master to student and generally are less known. They are practiced to promote health, prolong life and at a very advanced level to develop the spirit.
Tian Yan Nei Gong consists of powerful, continuous, dynamic movements. They collect the energy in the energy centers and then circulate it through the entire network of meridians within the human body. And it is this free flow of the vital energy called “chi” that brings about inner calmness, an increased sense of well-being and lightness, as well as physical strength and flexibility, and that also integrates body and mind.
Tian Yan Nei Gong also realigns and tones the whole body, greatly improves back problems, neck and shoulder tension, strengthens knees and opens the hip joints, to mention but a few examples. It discharges negative emotional energy (fears, anxieties, traumas etc) and helps to increase self-esteem and confidence.
Our classes last 2 hours. They start with holding exercises (jing gong) and then lead on to the moving exercises (dong gong). The groups are max. around 12 people to guarantee individual attention. We offer 2 – 4 months courses with the same exercise programme to ensure substantial progress that is also obvious for the students themselves. This also gives students sufficient time to learn at their own pace without pressure.
No previous experience is required. Classes are for all levels.
